You are solely responsible for the tax and statutory positions taken in your business, including those under the Goods and Services Tax law (rates, HSN/SAC codes, place of supply, reverse charge, input tax credit and its reversal, e-invoicing) and the Income-tax law (tax deducted at source: sections, rates and PAN), and for filing returns, depositing tax and furnishing statements with the authorities. It shows a warning where an entry appears to conflict with those rules. A warning is guidance, not professional advice, and the absence of a warning does not mean that an entry is correct.
Where you choose a setting or enter a value that differs from what the Platform suggests, you may do so. The Platform records the choice, the user who made it and when. You accept responsibility for such choices.
You should review the figures, reports and returns prepared on the Platform, including the exceptions it lists for review, before you file them or rely on them. Statutory rates, notifications and procedures change from time to time; we update the Platform as changes become known to us, but we do not guarantee that every change is reflected on the date it takes effect.
Nothing on the Platform, in its help content or in our communications is legal, tax or accounting advice. Please consult a qualified professional for advice on your business.
